First Blog Post

Well, I guess there's no better time to write my very first blog post.  After all, I've only been meaning to do it since school began.  ;-)  I know all you teachers in blog land will understand.  Let me tell you a bit about myself.  My name is Stacey and I am a Kindergarten teacher in Kentucky.  I really do love my job and feel blessed to have the opportunity to help little ones learn and grow each and every day.  I am in my fourth year of teaching and am making my way through the Common Core Standards, a new math program {Math in Focus}, and learning how to be a 1-1 classroom with iPads...on top of EVERYTHING ELSE we teachers do! :-)  I began this blog to document my time in the classroom.  I'm also hoping to connect with the many fantastic teachers who write blogs that inspire me and do so much for my career.  I hope to share my successes and my failures.  I hope to keep learning from you all.  I hope to *maybe* inspire someone else!  Thanks for reading!  Stick with me!
